From a nice hike, or a proper trek, to climbing or a day at the spa, the lovers of sport and wellness will definitely find something for them around our Agritourism.
The woods around Malga Riondera are the perfect place for hiking.
Trekking lovers will find more challenging paths in the near Monti Lessini plateau, or they can cross the valley to explore the Natural Park of Monte Baldo.
Higher peaks are just around the corner.
The Monti Lessini plateu has plenty of routes suitable for bikes and mountain bikes.
Thanks to an agreement wih the shop E MT BIKE (located in Ala) our guests can rent normal bikes and e-bikes at a discounted fare!
If you love climbing you will find many climbing walls around, the nearest is just 5 minutes away by car! The “Lama” climbing wall is made of a calcareous rock and is immersed in a chill forest, perfect for the summer.
In less than an hour you could also reach the renowned climbing walls of Arco, near Garda lake.
Here at the malga you can find the Wellness Apiary, a larch wood structure where relaxation is guaranteed with Apiaroma and Apisound!
To cool down during the summer months, or relax on a rainy day, in Ala (15 min) you can find the municipal Pool and Wellness center. At the counter, let them know you are our guest, you will get a reduction on the admission fee!
WHAT TO DO IN THE AREA
Malga Riondera is located in a strategic place to explore the Vallagarina valley!
In 20 minutes (by car) you can find the historical center of Ala – a XVIII century town build in Baroque style, the town of Avio and the medieval castle of Sabbionara.
If history is really your passion, you could also reach Rovereto (35 min by car) where you can find the History museum of war. 10 min from Rovereto you can also explore Castel Beseno, Trentino’s biggest medieval fortress.
If you’re interested in sciences, in Trento (1 h by car) you fill find MuSe, a science museum designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano. MUSE exhibits use the metaphor of the mountain to describe life on Earth. You start from the top: the terrace and the 4th floor allow us to encounter the sun and ice; from there, you descend to investigate the issues of biodiversity, sustainability, and evolution, until you reach the basement and the wonders of the tropical greenhouse.
Art lovers will also find something for them in Vallagarina. In Rovereto (35 min by car) you can visit Mart – Modern and contemporary art museum and Casa Depero, the house-museum of the renowned futurist artist.
If, instead, you’d like to reach Trento, you could visit Galleria Civica or the Buonconsiglio Castle museum.
Our territory is famous for its enogastronomic excellences. The valley is rich of winaries and wine cooperatives, where you can taste tipical wines.
Tenuta San Leonardo, Maso Roveri winary, Avio’s wine cooperative are just a couple of km away and, if you’d like to have a taste of some other tipical product, just ask us!
